The Johnson generator is just like Boris' own speeches, a pastiche of nonsense that occasionally reveals a pearl of wisdom or vicious prejudice. Perfectly acceptable, even laudable,  in an MP but not really up to the mark for the mayor of the greatest city on earth. So have a laugh with Boris but don't vote for him because, as comedian Rob Deb said, you can't run a city with pie on your face.

Just click on the button whenever you feel the need for an clueless aphorism or confused soundbite. NOW WITH F*%KING! and in light of the past month (ok eighteen of them) f*&c ups!

February 2009 Update

At last after a year in office Boris finally gives us a vision of his future London. It's taken long enough but on February 1st (otherwise known as snow day) we got a glimpse of Boris' future London it is all white and not a bus in sight.

October 2009 Update:

It's hard to feel anything even approaching sympathy for anyone who voted this shambolic embarrassment into office but they might help their own case if they started wearing badges saying "I apologise and will never again vote on the amusing hair ticket."

Simon Fletcher puts it nicely: "It has been a bad few weeks for Boris Johnson’s mayoralty. We may look back and decide that this was the month where things started to go badly wrong: the self-inflicted wound over the western extension, the row over road user charging, the sordid cronyism of the attempt to foist media ally Veronica Wadley onto the Arts Council, and most importantly the eye-wateringly steep fares increase.

But if this really is the period where Boris Johnson’s administration loses its lustre, then the nonsensical floating airport policy and its many months of twists and turns is just one example amongst several others that have always indicated the core underlying problems."
