The first Penny Dreadful to hit the streets for over a century retells London folktales and ghost stories in the present day.

A mere A5 slip of a thing packed with particular stories from another London. One Eye Grey is something chilling and pocket sized aimed at ordinary Londoners who like a laugh, enjoy a spot of history, take pleasure from a bit of a fright now and then may want to look at their city in a fresh light.

Part one (Transpontine drift) introduces the chief characters for the whole series and through them links into a shockingly strange metropolis of shapeshifters, seductresses, a basilisk breeding programme in Rotherhithe and pagan estate agents.

Part two (A goose in Southwark) out in June has a more ghostly selection of London stories. These include lewd fricatrix servicing punters from beyond the grave, ghost films in haunted cinemas, a really scary sloaney pony and, perhaps most terrifying of all, the dreaded LED which condemns the sufferer to literally eat, sleep and breath London.

Part three (Out of orbital) does exactly that as Carl the narrator goes beyond the M25 and finds that you can take the man out of London but not the London out of the man. He can't escape the strange events either as he wanders the various London's by the sea until all stories converge on a dreadful beach at Walton on the Naze.
